You have set your goal, right? Whether it is to PR or to finish the Evansville Half Marathon, you may have an idea of what your finish time may be. You have put the hours on the road or on the treadmill training for race day, it’s time to put it to the test!
Our pace team members are volunteers that have trained especially for their finishing time. The Evansville Half Marathon pacers in the following increments: 1:40, 1:50, 2:00, 2:10, 2:20, 2:30, 2:45, 3:00 and 3:15. Our volunteers will get you to the finish line at your desired goal or even (most of the time) just under!
How will you know where your pace group is at the start line? To help with this, our pace group leaders wear “team gear” provided by Ultimate Fit, and they also hold up signs at the start line and throughout the race to let you know which pace group you are in.
