2022 Evansville half marathon races:
With multiple distances to choose from - the half marathon, race day 5-Miler, and the race series - you're sure to find the race that's right for every fitness level! Thousands of tri-state runners and walkers have participated in these Evansville Half Marathon Races and look forward to it each year. There will also be two warm-up runs to help trainees meet short term fitness challenges and prepare for the longer distance of the half marathon. Participation in the Series of Races is not required, and you are more than welcome to only participate in the shorter race options!

2022 5K/10K RACE SERIES
Saturday - August 6, 2022 - RACE STARTS @ 7:00am
- The first race of the Series of Races located in Downtown Evansville. Choose your distance with a 5K or 10K option, both are eligible for the Series Medal. Participation in the Series of Races is not required, and you are more than welcome to only participate in this race option!
- The 5K/10K race will be bib timed by Get Me Registered and will begin on Court Street between 5th and 6th St.
- Packet Pick Up will be at the Old Downtown YMCA (222 NW 6th St) on Friday, August 6 from 10 am – 6 pm. We will also have packet pick up the morning of the event at the OLD Downtown YMCA from 5:30-6:30 am.

2022 15K RACE SERIES
Saturday - September 10, 2022 - RACE STARTS @ 7:00am
- The second race of the Series of Races located in Downtown Evansville. The 15K will push you a bit further on your way to the Half Marathon. Participation in the Series of Races is not required, and you are more than welcome to only participate in this race option!
- The 15K race will be bib timed by Get Me Registered and will begin on Vine Street between 5th and 6th St.
- Packet Pick Up will be at the Old Downtown YMCA (222 NW 6th St) on Friday, September 9 from 10 am – 6 pm. We will also have packet pick up the morning of the event at the OLD Downtown YMCA from 5:30-6:30 am.
2022 HALF MARATHON
Saturday - October 1, 2022 - RACE STARTS @ 7:00am
The capstone in the Series of Races! The Half Marathon will be 13.1 miles to promote health and well-being and create a true sense of community. The scenic route overlooks the Ohio River, utilizes the Greenway, historic Bosse Field, and Garvin and Bayard Parks.
The Evansville Half Marathon Expo will be located in the Old Downtown YMCA (222 NW 6th St) from 10 am - 7 pm. No race day packet pick up will be available.

2022 THE 5 MILER
Saturday - October 1, 2022 - RACE STARTS @ 7:00am
- The Race Day 5 Miler is an exciting addition to allow the whole family to get involved in race day. It’s the perfect distance to challenge yourself and try something new.
- Race Day 5 Milers participants will line up after the Evansville Half Marathon participants have started. Airhorn start for the 5 Miler participants will be at 7:15 am along the Riverfront. 5 Miler participants will run the first 5 miles of the half marathon course and will finish along the Riverfront. Family, friends, and participants of the 5 Miler are welcome to stay and cheer on Half Marathon finishers.

2022 KIDS HALF MARATHON
Saturday - October 1, 2022 - RACE STARTS @ 8:30am
- Participants, aged kindergarten to 8th grade, are asked to complete 12 miles of running or walking prior to race day. Kids will track their mileage on the mileage log. On race receive a Kids’ Half Marathon race medal, goody bag and t-shirt. Times will not be recorded.
- On race day, the race participants will meet near the fountain on Main Street just inside the entrance of the park. Race participants need to report by 8:15 am to be assigned to race heats. As each heat is called, the participants will walk to the start line. Each athlete will complete a loop around Garvin Park and end by the fountain. Parents: parking will be available in the Bosse Field parking lot. All participants must be accompanied by an adult before and after the race.
